My mission is to bring out the beauty of steel and other metals. I use heat to induce the colors and skillful grinding to bring out luster and texture in the wildlife and landscapes. No paint is applied except a clear sealant at the end. Silhouettes will appear in sparse lighting, while rich colors and texture will appear in brighter light.
Variation is impossible to capture in photos, as in reality the pieces will change dramatically as you walk by them. All my pieces are hand crafted. Shapes are cut with plasma arc and pieces are welded with MIG and TIG welding processes. No two pieces are alike. The staircase rails and furniture encorporate hand forgings and castings.
